Our Marketplace Model

Shopbay is a discovery platform designed to connect you with incredible local, family-owned stores. Please note: Shopbay does not hold inventory, pack, or ship any products. When you buy a product on our website, you are purchasing directly from an independent local seller.

Shipping & Delivery

Since every store on Shopbay is independently operated, shipping and delivery methods vary by seller:

  • Fulfillment: The seller is solely responsible for preparing and sending your order.
  • Timeline: Estimated delivery times are set by the individual store and may vary based on your location.
  • Local Options: Many of our vendors offer local pickup or their own local delivery services. These options will be visible during the checkout process.
  • Tracking: Once your order is processed by the seller, you will receive any applicable tracking information via email.

Returns & Refunds

Shopbay does not process returns or issue refunds directly. All return requests must be handled through the specific store where the purchase was made.

  • Seller Policies: Each store has its own return policy. We encourage you to review the store's profile or contact them directly before purchasing.
  • Communication: If you need to return an item or request a refund, please contact the seller using the information provided in your order confirmation email.
  • Disputes: While we provide the payment infrastructure via Stripe, Shopbay cannot intervene in disputes regarding product quality or return eligibility.
